Doorway 6: Health, Service & Well-Being

Doorway 6 introduces personal development. This house corresponds to the sign of Virgo, ruled by Mercury. In this house, we address your relationship to well-being and the themes that support it. This is the house of health, hygiene, diet and exercise, daily routine, our pets, and the service we offer the world.

In the Sixth House, you take care of yourself and offer help and service to others. You create daily routines that add up, over time and make a visible difference in the quality of your life. If your routines are healthy, your life will follow suit. If your routines are full of bad habits, you will see the results of those choices. In this house, the little everyday things create the bigger picture.

Your pets fall under the rulership of this house. It’s interesting that research has shown that pets contribute to good health in those who care for them. Work, as opposed to a career, and service are also behind Doorway 6.
