Day 21: Claim Your Well-Being

Our final topic for Doorway 6 is Well-Being. Well-being is an overall sense that all is well. It includes the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of yourself.

Well-being is something you can possess, even when things aren’t perfect. You have a choice in how you experience whatever is happening in you. As you choose well-being, your perspective will shift, making whatever you face more manageable.

We create a sense of well-being primarily through self-care, which includes everything from good hygiene practices, being physically active, setting healthy emotional boundaries and making a point of loving and appreciating yourself on a regular basis. Well-being means making time for the little things that make a big difference in the quality of your relationship to yourself.

Jodi’s Insights

A daily gratitude practice is a simple way to increase your sense of well-being because it creates a structured routine for appreciating the good in your life. The longer you do it, the more you can see how well things really are in your world.

One of my favorite sayings is, ‘All is well.’ I have repeated this so many times over decades, to myself, to clients and to friends, that I no longer remember where I first heard it. I think it was Abraham, via Esther Hicks, but I’m not sure. These three words work like magic to remind you that all is truly well. Regardless of what it looks like from the mind’s viewpoint, there is always more to the story that is only revealed later, when you have the gift of hindsight. If you want to enhance your sense of well-being, these three little words can quickly take you out of victim consciousness, and into remembering that whatever you are doing with your energy and attention is creating the path forward.

Goddess of Now

The Goddess of Now says well-being is your birthright. Cultivating the mindset that looks for what’s right instead of what’s not, will take you a long way. Develop habits that make you feel vibrant and vital. Give yourself the benefit of the doubt. Open your heart to the best case scenario and see how that shifts your outlook in the Now.

The Goddess says love yourself. Hold yourself in high esteem. Appreciate the miracle of your life in this body, at this time. Well-being is a state of mind that is available whenever you are ready to claim it.

Spend time with the Goddess of Now in the Goddess Chamber whenever you need a solace or a boost of self-love. She is always there to remind you all is truly well.
