Let’s Celebrate!

Doorway 13 is the center of the wheel. From here we can see all the themes, every topic we’ve covered, and a few more that were prompted by our inquiry, conversations and writing these past 6 weeks.

The Goddess Revolution was designed to be a journey from the outside of the wheel, (and an external perspective of yourself and your life) through the 12 Doorways of discovery, finally arriving in the conscious center of all you are, and the possibilities and potentials that arise from having walked together, with the Goddess of Now, these past 42 day.

I know that many of us didn’t do all of the daily writing. I certainly didn’t. But I will, knowing that this is fertile ground for me to explore. I invite you to do the same, when the time is right, and you are ready to reveal more of yourself to yourself, uncovering new aspects of your Goddess nature, in the process.

The Goddess of Now is unique to each of us. She looks and inspires and speaks and feels in ways that work for you. Please don’t worry if you don’t ‘see’ her in the Goddess activations. It is enough for you to simply be in the energy and experience of interactions with this loving Goddess of the heart. She is part of you, and once you have made that connection, is available to you whenever you desire contact. Simply close your eyes, put your hands on your high heart, (in the center of your chest) and step into your Goddess Chamber. You can take your questions, concerns, even things you are excited about, in with you. The more you interact with the Goddess of Now, the more powerful your connection becomes.

Today is our celebration call! Celebration is a very important piece of the manifestation process. So many times we complete something and in our rush to get onto the next thing, fail to acknowledge and appreciate where we’ve been and what we gained from it.

The energy of celebration opens your heart, hands and mind to releasing whatever stress or duress you may have been under during the process of achieving your objective, so you are open to receiving the good you have gained. This puts you into a state of joyful surrender. If you don’t celebrate, victory can feel hollow. I think this is one of the reasons people so often feel frustrated. They don’t allow themselves to rejoice in the strides they’ve made, and the obstacles they’ve overcome to get to the end point that they desired enough to do the work.

Goddess of Now

The Goddess of Now says, “Thank you for inviting me into your life! Thank you for opening up to the wonderful possibilities that lie at the heart of you. Thank you for trusting enough to come on this journey. No matter how much you have or have not participated, you did something very empowering when you signed up. You said yes to the Feminine Divine that has always lived within you.

“From now on you know that there is more to you that is beautiful, gracious, compassionate and true. Your life as a woman makes a tremendous difference in this world and once you understand this, your energy and attention alone will have a positive effect on the state of things. Women have been largely absent from the larger conversations in this world. That is changing Now, as one by one you awaken to the glorious potentials within you and rise as the force for Good you have always been. You light up the world when you embrace your beautiful qualities and let yourself shine.”

Day 42: Connect to Your Power Source

We wrap up our discussion of Doorway 12 with the topic of spirituality. Spirituality means different things to different people.

There is a thread of spirituality that runs through the adventure you have been on with The Goddess Revolution. The energetic exercises and Goddess activations invite you into a spiritual state, in order to experience yourself and what is possible for you in an expansive and limitless way.

It is through your spirituality that you access transcendent states of direct connection to the Divine within you. Your spirituality opens you to abundant possibilities, far beyond what your physical senses allow.

Healthy spirituality enhances your life and gives you a basis upon which to ground yourself in an ever-expanding sense of who you really are. However, spirituality can also be used as a means for escaping reality and leave you feeling ungrounded, and sometimes, disconnected from the world and people around you. If you have too much energy dedicated to the spiritual realms, the energetic circuit is not completed through the body, and the body can be compromised and weakened. A balanced approach is always the healthiest approach.

Adela’s Insights

Are you one of the growing throng of women who consider themselves spiritual but not religious? Organized religion has suffered some serious setbacks in recent history. The proliferation of technology and the subsequent access to information has further unhinged the masses from millennia of following in the footsteps of others.

Today almost everyone has access to knowledge that provides an opportunity to see for yourself, think for yourself, know for yourself. The playground for the adventure of self-awareness and enlightenment grant access to the divine channel that runs through your being. It is your spiritual nature that gives you the keys to the kingdom.

The Goddess of Now

The Goddess of Now says that your spiritual life holds the keys to living well. When you are connected to your spirit and allow it to influence and guide you, your life naturally expands and grace becomes your constant companion. In order to live a truly spiritual life, all aspects of you must be included and honored. There is nothing within you that isn’t worthy of love and respect. As you come to this understanding, your energy starts flowing in all kinds of wonderful and unexpected ways.

The Goddess says spirituality is your ticket to ride the joy train of uplifting possibilities and potentials. Your spirit is a joy magnet! Joy is highly creative. Trust that high vibrational states, like joy, beauty, love and compassion are your spirit expressing its delight in being alive. As you allow yourself to dwell in these expansive states, the connection between body, mind, and spirit grows and glows.

Imagine that we are gathered in a circle of light. You are a light. I am a light. We are a pattern of lights, energetic charges shifting form, playing in time and space and beyond. Feel the vastness of this aspect of your being. Feel the vast circle of which you are an essential element. Notice who is in this circle with you. Allow anyone from the continuum of time and space to have their place, even ascended masters, light beings and avatars. Feel the power and lightness of the circle. Feel the freedom of your being.[/thrive_custom_box]

Day 41: Window to Wonder

Imagination is another of your innate super powers. It’s readily available. All you need to do is close your eyes, relax your body and open to your inner sensing. Some of you can easily access this dimension, others may need to practice a bit. You have the ability. It’s part of your wiring.

Einstein is quoted as saying this about imagination: “I am enough of the artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.

Doorway 12 gives you access to your imagination. Imagination is different for everyone. For some, it appears in vivid images or movie-like adventures. For others, it is an energetic drawing forth into something previously not experienced. And some people don’t feel they have much imagination at all. I think they probably do, but don’t recognize it as such.

Questions that begin with the words, ‘What if…’ will set your imagination in motion. How does your body/being respond to those kinds of questions? That will give you a good clue about how your unique brand of imagination works most naturally.

You are utilizing your imagination when you participate in the energetic exercises, and Goddess activations on each of our calls. Your imagination can create entire worlds for you to inhabit or help you shift out of a funky mood in a matter of moments.

Goddess of Now

When I first met the Goddess of Now she inspired me to think of the imagination as the ‘magic nation’ where virtually anything is possible. This simple play on words showed me how easily I could shift things, if I held them lightly and approached them creatively. I invite you to create your own magic nation and see how it works for you.

The Goddess says imagination is the key to entertaining positive change and increasingly creating the life of your dreams. Once you are able to imagine something to the point where you can see it, smell it, taste it and most importantly feel it, you are on your way to having it out-picture in your physical life. Do not worry or even wonder about the how it might happen, just dwell in the magnificence of your imagined creation and enjoy it into becoming.

Day 40: You’ve Got To Have Faith

Faith means different things to different people. Being faithful, on the other hand, is something most can agree upon. Faith, for our purpose, is the ability to hold belief and trust in something for which there is no proof. Oftentimes, this is religious belief, but it can also be your belief in a person, a company, or a principle.

Faith calls on us to imagine things can improve when there is no evidence that is possible. Do you believe in a power beyond yourself? Do you believe things in your life will turn out well? Do you believe that good will triumph over evil? Do you believe the universe is a benevolent place?

Faith can give us hope when nothing else does. Faith can bring us to our knees, so we can remember we are not invincible. Faith, in whatever form speaks to you, can lift you up when you could not otherwise rise.

Goddess of Now

The Goddess of Now says there is an abundance of goodness and grace that go on beyond the scope of your vision or understanding. There is assistance available from invisible realms to see you through this journey of life. As one of the masters was credited with saying, “Ask and you shall receive.” Faith opens you, heart and mind, to more of the infinite possibilities.

The Goddess says it was faith that allowed Her to make Her presence known. And it was faith that allowed you to be on this journey of recognition and reconnection with the Goddess that has always been alive and well within you.

Day 39: We’re In It Together

Recent events in our world have primed your average Jane and John to become more involved than usual. Whether you think of the US elections, Standing Rock or the Syrian refugees, people all over the world are taking a stand for their brothers and sisters. These challenging times have stirred the humanitarian thread that lives within us all.

Our final topic of Doorway 11 is Humanitarianism. Whether you think of yourself as a humanitarian or not, you probably have ideas about what it means to be a humanitarian.

Cambridge Dictionary defines humanitarian as one who is involved in or connected with improving people’s lives and reducing suffering.

This means that we don’t have to be donating large sums of money to a humanitarian cause to think of ourselves in those terms. Humanitarianism is the willingness to extend yourself for those less fortunate, in a way that makes life easier for them.

Some people have a real gift and desire to act in ways that benefit others. Doing so makes them feel connected to the bigger picture that reminds us we are all in this together. For others, the idea of humanitarianism is a foreign concept or perhaps feels too abstract. They prefer contributing in ways that feel more personal.

Adela’s Insights

Goddess of Now

The Goddess of Now says there is much to be said for contributing to the greater good in any way that feels expansive to you. There are a multitude of ways of doing this. Each of you is unique in your gifts and your expression.

The Goddess says acting on behalf of and for the betterment of your world is natural to those who are connected to their divinity and inspired heart. At that point, there is an inspired energy behind all of your actions that is beneficial to all. Even simple things, done with inspired intention, uplifts others and makes a positive difference.

Day 38: What’s Your Social Style?

Whether you consider yourself a social butterfly or would rather blend into the background at social gatherings, your ability to connect to your community, your people, is key in bringing your authentic essence to life. A community that aligns with who you are, and what matters most, is one of the quickest ways to craft a life you absolutely adore!

Your social life, which includes the groups and associations to which you belong, is another way life expresses through Doorway 11. How sociable you are depends largely on who you are and how you are wired. Some people thrive on being out in big groups of people, and find them energizing. Others feel overwhelmed at the mere thought of an outing like that.

An active social life can connect you with wonderful acquaintances that you see on occasion and have interests in common. Typically, people you know from large groups do not become close friends, though they may. If you tend to be more extroverted, social groups, networking events, and associations dedicated to a cause you care about can be energizing and uplifting.

Even if you are more introverted, if the cause or focus of the group is of great interest, you may find benefit in joining.

Social media has taken the place of having a social life in the real world, for many people. Even if you still belong to in-person groups, the internet offers many more possibilities for finding groups that perfectly match your interests. The beauty of it is that you never have to leave home. That can also be the drawback of social media. An in-person experience offers benefits that you can’t get online. Being physically face-to-face with other humans helps us remember our humanity and our connection to others in a way we just don’t get through a computer screen.

Goddess of Now

The Goddess of Now says your social life can be a real blessing. Those with whom you socialize, particularly those you consider an acquaintance, rather than a friend, connect you with parts of yourself that you don’t otherwise access. If life were a tapestry, their threads would reside a few rows over from yours. Though your threads are not directly touching, you add color and texture to the overall picture you share.

The Goddess says you never know when the connections you make with someone you only know socially will open doors to new possibilities for you or those you love. Human life consists of concentric circles of influence. Even those a few circles out from you make a difference in the quality of your life. If you have neglected this part of your life, there is much to be gained by making new social connections, in any way that feels good to you.

Day 37: Dream On

As we continue with Doorway 11, we come to the topic of Dreams and Wishes. This is the inner doorway to expanding your horizons through conscious dreams and down-to-earth wishes. On the opposite side of the map, at Doorway 5, you develop your passions and desires. Those desires inform your dreams and wishes for things that may be beyond your physical capability to create. This is the fertile ground of imagination that often includes other people and circumstances beyond your control.

Dreams and wishes are less mundane than intentions but are using the same principles. When you dare to imagine something that makes your spirit dance, you know you are on to something. The important thing with dreams is to give yourself permission to expand your mind and let your heart be part of it, too.

Adela’s Insights

Dreams are fuel for living. They power you up, inspire you, and activate your latent gifts. Sometimes there’s no limit to what you’ll do to bring a dream to life. Sometimes dreams languish in our hearts and never see the land of the living. Some of us live in our dreams and some of us dream our lives into being.

Every invention or gadget, principal or process, was birthed in the land of dreams. It was a spark in someone’s being that was brought to life. Whether it’s flying or electricity, computers or cell phones, someone’s dreams changed your world. However you navigate the world beyond time and space, it is a powerful force to create change not only for you but for everyone.

Jodi’s Insights

Many of us had big dreams when we were young. Life happens and other things can take precedence. However, it’s a good practice to revisit some of those old dreams, and see if they still speak to you. Is there something you had your heart set on, that you’d still like to make happen? The dreams that still hold magic for you are likely the ones that help connect you to more of who you really are.

With dreams and wishes, and intentions, for that matter, you do not have to know how things will unfold. The only thing you need to know is what you prefer.

Goddess of Now

The Goddess of Now says dreams and wishes are glimpses into more of your true nature. Giving yourself time to daydream and imagine yourself in different scenarios can open your eyes to wonderful new possibilities. Pay attention to those moments when you hear yourself say, “I wish…” Regardless of what prompted them, you’ll have a clear idea of what you prefer, deep down inside, and that can be very helpful.

The Goddess says you are never too old or too tired to dream. You can dream while you sleep! Allow yourself to explore your imagination and dream big! You might be surprised at what they can bring you.

[thrive_custom_box title=”Energy Shift” style=”light” type=”color” color=”#7100e2″ border=”#1e73be”]Before you dive into today’s writing take a moment to tap into your dreams. Day 36: You Got To Have Friends

As the old song goes, “You’ve gotta have friends…” Friends are your reward for being yourself. Friends are like family you’ve chosen. Your family members may see things differently than you do but they are your family, so you deal with it. You bond with friends because you get along, they love and accept you for who you are, you enjoy their company, and there is a mutual admiration for one another.

Close friends may know as much or more about you than your mate, and play a special role in your life. When you are in school, it is easy to meet people with whom you have plenty in common. As you became an adult and took on more responsibilities, like career, committed relationships with mates, maybe a baby or two, it can be more of a challenge to meet others who not only share your interests and concerns, but are friend-worthy.

Even when you do find those special people you feel resonance and attraction enough to explore a friendship bond, it takes effort to form and maintain friendships, as an adult. Though there are many other things that occupy your time and attention, the benefits of friendship make it worth pursuing and finding the time to spend together. Studies have shown that those who make time for their friendships are happier, healthier people.

Goddess of Now

The Goddess of Now says cherishing your friendships turns up the volume on what’s good and of value in your life. Your friends remind you of the things that are important to you, as an individual. When your life goes out of balance from too much work, or family issues, or whatever it may be, your friends can help you come back to center.

The Goddess says friends can help you to come back to your true self when the world is pulling you this way and that. They are there to lift your spirits, remind you of your sense of humor, show you compassion, and the joy of companionship.

Day 35: What Are You Responsible For?

Responsibility is a sign of maturity. It’s one of the markers of being a grown up. It’s ownership for the things that matter to you, the things that are in your care. It’s ensuring that you’re the one that has those things turn out. It does not apply to everything or everyone. It is a very focused nexus of power.

Responsibility is literally your ability to respond. Your ability to respond becomes stronger and more multi-faceted as you grow up and into the roles you take on. When you are younger, there are parents, teachers or other authority figures telling you what you are responsible for doing. As an adult, you have to figure these things out for yourself.

Children are sometimes given responsibility for things they are neither ready nor able to take on. Some kids are more mature and willing to assume adult roles before it is appropriate or healthy. If you were one of those kids, you may have carried that feeling of responsibility into adulthood, and feel responsible for others who are old enough to be responsible for themselves.

Adela’s Insights

I was a very serious kid. My family emigrated from Cuba when I was almost two years old and it was clear to me early on that we lived by different rules. Both of my parents worked and we had chores and responsibilities. I remember that at first my only chore was sweeping and cleaning the table.

In our family everyone had responsibilities, everyone contributed. Laziness was not tolerated. My parents were very strict and big on discipline. There were serious consequences for slacking off on your responsibilities. No one did.

When I was 14 I got a job at the corner pharmacy. I remember my parents praise. They acknowledged my sense of responsibility and hard work.  I had given up singing in choir because it conflicted with my work schedule. Responsibility was highly valued in my family. Kudos were rare in my family. Excellence was expected. I remember feeling so proud.

I’ve always been uber responsible. As someone used to taking charge, and being responsible, it’s been a particularly difficult challenge. I’ve had to learn to loosen up and let go of things that are not mine to do. Just because you can doesn’t mean you should.

Jodi’s Insights

I was one of those kids who was eager to help, and was given quite a bit of responsibility at a young age. One of the things I was held responsible for was watching my brothers, so they didn’t get into trouble. There were three of them and only one of me. Although it was an impossible task, I felt responsible for them, long after childhood.

As an adult, I defaulted to feeling responsible for other people and their emotions. As an empath, I usually knew when someone was upset, and felt it was up to me to figure out how to fix their problems and make them feel better. If someone was unhappy or struggling, even if I had very little relationship to them, I felt responsible for cheering them up.

One of my long-time mentors was a Buddhist. She taught me that you can only be responsible for what you can control. So, since I had no control over anyone’s behavior but my own, it made no sense to assume responsibility for other people.

Knowing this helped me to have healthier relationships with everyone from my mother to my clients. It also allowed me to create appropriate relationship boundaries with others. This is something I had struggled with, but once I understood what my responsibility really was, it became a natural thing to do. And it did wonders for my relationships.

The Goddess of Now

The Goddess of Now says, that which you choose to be responsible for, beyond your own needs, shapes and structures your life in important ways. Those kinds of responsibilities allow you to develop your character and invest in something that gives you a sense of satisfaction. You may choose to take on a garden, a project, or a role in a volunteer organization.

The Goddess reminds you that the things you have the ability to respond to utilize your gifts and talents, allow you to be in community with others of like mind, and generally energize your life. Appropriate responsibility, taken on consciously, and with a sense of adventure and purpose, is positively life-enhancing.

Creative Exploration: Responsibility

Before you dive into today’s topic take a moment to feel your connection to yourself, to one another and to All That Is. Feel responsibility as if it were a crown. Notice what your crown looks like. Is it gold and jewel-encrusted? Is it simple and unassuming? Imagine that the things you are responsible for are symbols on your crown. Notice what you are essentially responsible for. Allow it to be what it is. Notice how it feels when you place it on your head. Is it heavy? Is it light? Does it feel just right (just like Goldilocks’ porridge and bed)?

Day 34: Honor Your Passion, Shift Your Career

The old standard of a life-long career no longer holds true for many people. Today, folks not only change jobs frequently they shift career paths completely. I’ve seen this a lot in the coaching and consulting fields. I’ve trained with lawyers, doctors, teachers, etc.

Career is not the same as a job you do, primarily for the money. Career is something you do for a period of years, that you trained for and that allows for a progression. The Free Dictionary defines career as:

  1. A chosen pursuit; a profession or occupation.
  2. The general course or progression of one’s working life or one’s professional achievements: an officer with a distinguished career; a teacher in the midst of a long career.

It used to be that people had one long career in their life. Now, with the rate of change the whole world is undergoing, it’s common for people to have two or even three careers, as certain fields change and require fewer employees.

Adela’s Insights on Career

When I was in high school I remember the career planning received by my guidance counselor: pick a profession that guarantees a good income. I remember being filled with idealistic aspirations of making a difference and engaging in meaningful work and being quickly shot down.

I’ve always been a dreamer, but for a few decades I towed the traditional line, mostly because I had children very young. As a single parent, I needed to provide for my children and that took precedence for quite some time.

I’ve always had technical ability plus people skills. I actually like people, always have, always will. There is also a deep chord of service in me. I enjoy helping others. This translated in the business world very well. Through chutzpah, serendipity and persistence, I wound up managing technology for a New York City law firm without a degree or technical training. I got the technical training but I was most valued for my ability to get things done.

Later I left the law firm and opened up a 20,000 sq ft World Gym Fitness Center with my brother. It was an amazing 13 years of hard work and adventures in health and fitness. I loved it! I got certified as a personal trainer and fitness instructor and went on to study holistic nutrition, which forked off into another career as a life coach.

For the past 14 years, I’ve run my own online business, focused on evolutionary coaching and online business consulting. I’ve hosted over 20 events: expert interviews and telesummits, 30-day events and trainings on building online community and joint venture partnerships. In all of these, my passion for communication and collaboration have been the foundation.

Jodi’s Insights on Career

I had a 24-year career as a hair stylist and really loved it for most of that time. My second career, as an intuitive consultant, began nights and weekends, in 1997, while I was still doing hair. I had been studying and developing my own understandings and intuitive abilities for 15 years before I began working professionally. I did readings, taught meditation and intuitive development, later I added monthly Circles to my offerings.

For the past few years, my work has undergone many changes. I now do my sessions on the phone or on Skype, instead of in an office, but my work has continued to develop in fascinating ways in the 20 years since I started doing it as a career.

And then there’s my hoop dance teaching. That one’s a passion… I’ve done that for 7 years, now.

The Goddess of Now

The Goddess of Now says, your career is a wonderful way to use your talents and abilities to not only support yourself financially but to grow and learn about yourself. Ideally, your chosen career holds excitement for you and you find the work rewarding.

The Goddess says the real rewards, when it comes to career, are the people it allows you to meet, and the ways you develop through dedication to that career for many years. Whether you consider your career successful has less to do with financial rewards than benefits gained, in terms of how it challenged you and shaped your character.

It is a wonder, a marvel, a once in a lifetime creation. Notice how your specific life path has nurtured and given rise to this blossoming beauty. It is you and your contribution to the world.
